    I've had my chicken for about 4 years now and since I got her from the battery farm rescue centre she was wheezing and couldn't breathe properly from the beginning. the wheezing cleared up but now has gotten a lot worse. I know that it could be from the dust but she's not been acting herself...

    I have never seen poo like that before. That is very strange.

    Does she/ her crop smell funny? because this would indicate that she has sour crop, if so try giving her apple cider vinegar (watered down) and my hens usually have squishy crops I think it might be the food i'm feeding them.

    We brought her to the vet yesterday and it doesn't look good for her. the vet was very good and explained everything to us but he said that she had a growth in her womb and it's untreatable. her temperature was very high and so we're giving her metacam to her twice a day just to lower her...

    I usually use permethrin on them every month which should do them good but ive still had problems with lice and mites which is very annoying
