I had a year and a half old RIR Hen. About 2-3 months ago she started moulting for the first time. The weather where I live here is dry and warm. I did have a problem with mice but I got it under control quickly. I did not use any poisons ... I drown them. Come to think of it the RIR went crazy...

I found a clear gelatine looking slimy blob this am in the coop between the size of a golf and tennis ball. I've got one pullet who just started laying a week ago and another still to be determined young hen or roo.... Anyone have any ideas?
