Does anyone have a recipe that is gluten, corn and soy free? I'm having a really hard time finding a commercial feed and am thinking I might be better off mixing my own.

Does anyone make your own feed? How hard is it? I need my chickens to be on a gluten, corn and soy free diet, due to my family's allergies, but I'm having a hard time finding feed that will work. I'm thinking about making my own, so any suggestions will be helpful!

I am new to raising chickens and looking to get my first chicks. I would really like chickens that lay many colored eggs. Can anyone recommend breeds as well as where to get them? I'd like to be able to pick them up and not have them shipped. Thanks!
