Today we noticed our first eggs! And our Red Stars are only 4 months old. We thought we had a couple more months at least. Guess we need to get those nesting boxes ready. Although, it appears they didn't mind the far corner of the coop!

My silly 7 week olds bum rushed the chicken door of the coop as soon is it started thundering and lightening this afternoon. They wouldn't go back inside, even though the chicken door is open to the run. They're drenched! It's supposed to rain all night and not be too cold, but... just wanted...

Other than their chick feed, our 6 week olds will only eat bacon or noodles with balsamic vinegar a butt load of salt on it. Is this normal or are they lacking something in their diet?
