    Help - Incubation Troubles!!!

Good morning! I have one little guy who must be so close to internally pipping… His little head is right up inside the air cell now – but when I look through the safe hole I can't quite see duck. I still see membrane I think… But a bit of yellow maybe??. Do I intervene… I have heard him clicking...

    Help - Incubation Troubles!!!

Well, I waited as long as I could but did have a little look again. They are still moving around and pulsing up by the air cell. But still lots of goo under that air cell by the looks of it and no one has made it through the internal membrane. If the high RH hasn't loosened up the goo...

    Help - Incubation Troubles!!!

It is confusing. Do you think I should keep up with the high humidity still? I'm at 75%... I'm very tempted to candle again to see if they're moving / progressing - but am resisting the temptation (for now!).

    Help - Incubation Troubles!!!

@Lacrystol I just found this picture on another thread, but I think it's what my little ducks look like through that safe hole. With all that goo that we can see when candling, is it possible for them also to be shrink wrapped?!

    Help - Incubation Troubles!!!

Thanks everyone! Lacrystol has been a bit of a life line the past 24 hours - thank you thank you! Not sure how these little ones will turn out still. Looks like they are very sticky. This morning all 9 were still moving but no one had pipped internally. So, safe holes have been made and...

Hello everyone! I'm on day 30 with nine welsh harlequin ducks. This is my first hatch ever and I've had a hard time finding consistent information about their incubation period. I've read everything from 23 days to 30 days. Soooo, here I am on day 30, they've been on "lockdown" since day 26...

    Fox, Weasel, or ??e

Hi, Thanks for your response! I'm actually trying to delete this message from this thread as I realized it wasn't where I thought it should be. It would be better off in the predator prey section, I'll add it there and try to delete it from here. Cheers, Ellen ..I'll check out the link, thanks.

    Fox, Weasel, or ?

Hi, I live in Whitehorse, up in the Yukon and woke up this morning to 27 dead (only 3 left living...tear), mostly decapitated chickens left randomly around our large 1 acre fenced in chicken yard. There are also 4(ish) missing - it looks like they were taken with the predator as there are...
