    Deep Litter Method.....

    I am thinking about using DLM, when I get started this spring. Can I use something besides pine shavings? Seems expensive to have to buy pine shavings. What other options do I have? Hardwood chips? Dried cut grass? Straw? And how much DE does it take? Just a sprinkle every so often...
