We have soaked her and then used a gloved finger to slowly push it back in. This was the same as I've done for other birds and had great success. This one will stay in..then come back out overnight.
I was feeding her just scratch feed and veggies. She hasn't laid in a few days now.
I have a hen that has a prolapse. It looks a million times better than it did weeks ago when we separated her but it will not stay in. We have done a ton of soaks..the whole 9 yards. We have had birds in the past that had prolapses and they were totally fine.

We have done an Epson salt bath multiple times. I don’t think that she is egg bound and last night I had tried to manually push the prolapse back in, and it went back in and she pushed it right back out.

Ive attached some more pics of the other birds where they are losing feathers. This morning I saw them trying to pluck some feathers as well.
I picked up new bedding and permethrin. My concern is that if it's not the right type of mite treatment then we have to swap out hte bedding again. etc...
thank you! I was worried it was depluming mites since I can't see them. I know we have red mites in the area because I see them on the concrete near our barn.
I am going to try to treat with permethrin then. I am assuming that would take care of everything except the depluming ones?
