Question we been giving our 6 chickens watermelon for the last few days, I notice they had running stool tonight....I read if the eat so much watermelon it can caused it....what do I need to do to stop it...They are acting and eating and drinking great. They laying a egg a day.

I’m thinking she was egg-bound but don’t know how to know for sure. We will be having a Funeral later tonight.

I took her to the vet and we cut the comb off, we never thought she would stop bleeding but finally got her to stop. She came home and been with the flock since then, we have had no other problem. I was there and seen her rip her comb...so i know it was not they other chickens. So glad she doing...

No it was designed for a chicken coop fence.

Al08062, The week before she had a triple yolker, Then this egg inside of a egg...I thought was so neat. Never thought I would have them back to back like this...She is full of surprises.

Drumstick Diva, She had a Egg the next day and been having them daily since...She seems like nothing is wrong.

Our hen ripped her comb and had to take her to the vet to cut it off all the way, She was bleeding bad and would not stop...we finally got it to stop hoping it doesn’t come back open. What do you guys use to stop bleeding?? here a picture before and after...She back with the flock and doing...
