If I do happen to have a rooster, is it ok to eat eggs that may potentially be fertile? Or do i have to make sure they are not? And how do u do this? Thanks in advance for answers!!!
I am in the process of building my 1st coop..but I am going to use an eyebolt connected to the door with a rope connected to that and run through a pulley and the other end of the rope attached to a hook latch which when pulled tight(open) will hook to another eyebolt screwed to the wall framing.
Well...our chicks got there brooder more than doubled in size tonight! I think they liked that very much. They sort of seemed puzzled at first, then I added more pine shavings and a box of sand. They seem very pleased. Also chopped up a little bit of papaya and boy did they LOVE that!
