This little one is now 5 weeks old and the feathers came in pretty fast. I am not sure what breed as we got it out of the assorted bantam bin. The comb has just recently started turning pink. Any ideas on breed and gender?
At 3 weeks
Now 5 weeks
Here is an updated picture of the black one and Dixie Rainbows. They are now 4 -5 weeks. I am still thinking 3 Roos and 2 pullets.
The black one is starting to get some brown feathering around the next and green sheen to the feathers.
Black thinking cockerel.
Greenish sheen to feathers.

The chick cant be a buff brahma, it has a muff. Depending on breeding he may never have vulture hocks or they may grow in later...being hatchery stock sometimes you get things like that as well as the odd beard-less ones aka booted bantam. (yes i know is a different breed but people keep...
I recently got some bantam chicks from TSC and believe a few may be D'uccles. They are around 3 weeks now. Do you think some are D'uccles? None are Silkies since they all have 4 toes and no black feet.
We recently got 4 Dixie Rainbow 1 Naked Neck and one all black no clue. Anyone dare to take a stab at breed and gender? Pretty sure the black one is a roo. They are all about 3-4 weeks old.
These are the Dixie Rainbows. Possibly 2 Roos and 2 pullets. The lighter ones look like Roos.

No black legs or five toes. Possibly a frizzle? I really hope the chipmunk with green legs is not a roo but time will tell. I will post better pictures tonight.
