I am a first time quail-owner and recently began to breed, hatch and raise them. I have only coturnix quail right now and probably won't get another species until much later on in life if this goes well. I am raising the quails ultimately to feed my krider's red-tailed hawk named Reaper. I am a licensed falconer, which means I hunt quarry with a hawk instead of a gun. It's a very very old sport and there aren't many of us, so I am very proud to be called one.

I am hoping to move to Idaho in a year or so. I have a boyfriend who loves Florida as much as I hate it, so we'll see what happens. I am a friendly person and I love all animals, even snakes and spiders. I have a profound respect for the circle of life and our ecosystem.
