Yeah, the bigger issue is that it's turned into a daily occurrence for an extended period, versus an occasional noisiness.
So, you think that if she is removed from the flock, someone will pick up in her place?

My initial thinking was that having more space under the coop would make it easier to clean, get to the chickens, etc -- though you are probably right that the space is better spent on the upstairs.
