Never too late to switch to those cups.just keep their old water in for a few days after you install the auto watering cups and make sure to fill the cups by depressing the dispenser with a finger the firat few days. They will figure it out. Once one bird starts using it the rest will follow soon.

We have snakes the size of worms. They are blind 3-5 inches long and eat ant larvae. They anything bigger than that would be in a zoo as snakes are invasive and not legal to own in Hawaii.

After culling excess males we added these hens to the rest of our covey and we are up to 57 hens. We get almost an egg a day from each of our girls and have since hatched another batch of 70 eggs to hopefully fill the rest of our cages.

We are in hawaii and even in the winter our temps never drop too far below 60 even at night. These little guys huddled close the first few days as its not cold but definitely not as warm in the growout as it is in the brooder.

a Little late but here they are about 9 days old and ready to go from the brooder to my grow out pen. Little guys were needing water changes 2-3 times per day so it will be nice to have them on the auto watering cups in the growout pen.

Ok Yeah the jumbo eggs are pretty large. I had a few get cracks and pinch when in the turner. Easy mod to eliminate the issue but be careful. Hot plastic can burn you easily. If you have a thick rubber or a metal thimble it will shield you from the heat and allow the right amount of pressure to...
