I once read, that a US President told Americans to have 2 chickens per person per household. I can't remember what year this was in our history and remember what resource I was reading. Anyone out there in Georgia know about this particular history? Thanks!
If anyone close in the St Mary's area is interested in a trio of Reds. I will be ready to sell soon. They are young, only about 4 mo old. I will post pictures tomorrow.
Thanks.
Yes I agree, I really like making old things into new. Wow, 1889 that was a day or two ago. Something that has survived that long deserves a second chance and what a great way to reuse it!
A friend of ours just told us about someone who just built a coop from old pallets, was it you??? Where are you located? It's wonderful>

I guess so. I'm located in St Mary's GA. Thank you!
It's not quite finished yet but functional for now.
Thank you! its not quite finished yet but functional. Need to add some paint and a run. They are just about ready to get on the ground and get their scratch on!
Coop floor is 3' off the ground.
Coop measures 3' x 8'. From floor to max ceiling height is approximately 4' tall.
This coop is made entirely from recycled wood. Mainly old pallets and an old privacy fence I took down.
My coop is not finished just yet but is functional for my 10 young girls...
