    What is the best way to clean eggs with out rinsing/washing them? This is what I do: I just get a paper towel and damp it a little and then wipe the egg down. Is this good enough?

    One of my hens has been laying very big hard shell eggs since she layed her first egg in June. But as of about 4 days now she is laying very soft eggs. The shell is very soft and floppy. She has also layed one in the evening and then one again in the morning. Just within the 12 hour range...

    I woke up this morning at 5:20, turned their light on. She came off the roost and basically went straight into the box. :thumbsup
