    I wonder if I should prophylactically treat my hens? There was a troubling loss last week and another hen was sick this week. With no chicken vet within 6 hours, we are on our own. :(

    A vet here suggested the hens would each need about 3-5 pellets a day for 7 days. Good luck!

    Questions Answered: Wormed her with Safeguard, then a follow up this week of Wazine. Had a flock of 8 - no new chickens this year. Her crop is flat first thing in the morning (I just checked). Her poops have too much white in then and are not normal. They are consistently runny and not formed...
