    I withheld regular feed, but my chickens are all foragers. Turns out they ate a ton of food anyway, all grass/weeds/bugs and whatnot.

    We processed our first batch of chickens last night. It was...interesting. :) We haven't had any sick or lethargic chickens at all, but when we put one of them upside down into the cone, mucus came out of the mouth. It was clear, but it kind of freaked me out. We wound up butchering it anyway...
