    Rats

    If you know where their hole is, that's a start. Last summer we duct taped a hose to our truck exhaust, then put the other end in the rat hole (which lead underneath the concrete floor of our barn) and buried it pretty good. Then we let the truck run for a few hours. That was probably overkill...

    Giant Pekin ducks

    I'm interested in ordering a few Giant Pekin ducks. I want to keep them around for a while though. I know with meat chickens you have to slaughter them around 12 weeks or their bodies get too heavy for their legs. Does this apply to Giant Pekins too? I'd hate to order them thinking I'm keeping...
