I had a hen go broody on me and decided to let her hatch a few eggs. She rolled them under her as soon as she saw them, and 21 days later we had peepers! So fun! I would definitely do it again!

This looks exactly like what I found under the roost the other day!! It was attached m By a membrane to a soft collapsed shell. I suspect this came from my oldest hen who has trouble forming hard shells.

I watched one of my hens swallow an entire lizard that was about 6" long!!
