They were tiny little fuzz balls. Alright :( I remember getting eggs at the end of July with my first batch of girls I have heard Lucy and Ethel singing the egg song so hopefully I will start getting some eggs

So I purchased my girls on 3/20 of this year and I have yet to receive any eggs, or even those first ones that have no shell!!! I am now getting worried that I paid a little extra for pullets and they aren't. Any suggestions on why they aren't yet? Also there seems to be quite a bit of feathers...

Thanks everyone... I work ina commercial kitchen and my co workers save me the ends of veggies or the peels from carrots and cukes, when my girls see me with the white bag from work they come running over too funny.

My girls seem a bit off the wall I go into their pen and they freak run away and squawk, my question is I held each on almost everyday for a good 10-15 mins, but now they seem afraid of me and I can't seem to get a hold of them to have them be "friendly". Are they still too young (9 weeks) or...

they are 10 weeks old and happy in their coop which stays warm and its not going below 60 degrees at night

I was wondering do I need to have a light on at all time si have been keeping a red light on at night but do I need it in there and on?
