Thank you! Unfortunately, she passed away in September. She was my favorite. :(

Thank you! That was my beloved Goldie. She passed away in September from internal laying and/or egg yolk peritonitis :( Life hasn't been the same without her. Even the flock missed her!

What breed in your avvy? She's so pretty! Looks almost exactly like my Lindsey.

She is an Easter Egger, the product of an Ameracauna rooster over a brown leghorn hen. I also have her full sister who is colored the same but has a pea comb and is smaller in size. They both lay pretty blue eggs.

I don't know if Lindsey is EE or Ameraucana. I have heard she is one and then she is another. She lays blue eggs as well.

The pros and cons of Amber-Links
Pros, they are friendly and not very shy. They do great with my little brothers and sisters, they will let my brothers and sisters come up to them and get held and pet, I live in Mi so it gets pretty cold here in the winter and I have no problems with them in the cold, they lay fairly well and there eggs are a good size.

Cons. They can be noisy at times and can be mean to the younger flock members.
