    They might of been or they were pecking at each other cause everything is ok now. I guess I was just being a mother hen, seems like they do better when I just leave them alone.

    I have a game camera facing my coop so I know if anything is trying to get in at night, that should help you rule out a cat or something hanging around your coop at night.

    From what i read possums will do as much damage as a coon but they aren't as smart or aggressive as a coon they will usually go after whatever is easier like my bird feeder or dog food. It does feel good to be hit by the sprinkler in the summer and its still in the 70's and 80's here.

    Yes, after I read up on it I realized that. Even the high humidity in Texas probably would make it ineffective. I was just trying to find a more natural way to get rid of pests.

    yeah after i posted the pic i could actually see it better than with my naked eye and i compared the lice and mite pics and it didnt seem like it was those two. which had me worried about catching something they had.
