    Thank you for the responses. It seems very likely that the beans are the problem. I soaked them in warm water that was not 100 degrees C, which probably upped the toxins in the beans I fed them. I read in the Chicken Health Handbook that flushing their system with epsom salts and molasses water...

    Dried Beans = no eggs??

    Hello, I soaked a mason jar of beans overnight and fed them to the chickens the next morning. A few days later, they have completely stopped laying. Could this have been the cause? How do soaked and dry beans effect hens?
