Down to one 11.5 week old hen. It's sad, but I'm also happy. I know if I want to breed, I'll have to get used to it.

First egg!!! EDIT: first from my flock. Most of which are April babies.

I have 8 and 1 that I had to assist but it's still not doing great... 1 more pip and still a few eggs to go.

7/25 and counting. 28% hatch rate already. I'd say that's pretty good especially for a first timer. They have until Wednesday to finish up.

It appears that no one will be hatching tonight. There aren't even any pips yet... It's a bit discouraging.

It's day 20... well, for 5 of the 25. But I don't think I've ever been so excited for anything(it's my first time incubating).

25 mutts on the way as of today(on lockdown)...

Up to 14 chickens in my flock now. And 29 mutts on the way(in the incubator). Can't wait for Monday.

8 Brown Leghorns, 2 White Leghorns, 1 Buff Orpington, 1 BLR Rooster, and 1 BLR hen as of yesterday. Proud Mama of my somewhat funky flock.
