Hello Sharon!!! GREAT to hear from you!! Ooh... take care of that shoulder. That stuff is no fun! Things are going well. Lost a good portion of my flock over the past year.... NEVER use well water on your flock!! (causes heart disease) The rest of them are doing well. Sorry you had to sell off part of your birds! Hard to care for them when you have health issues. Hi Sharon!! Nope, no snow yet, but it just might snow today!! Tell your neighbor to hang some curtains over her nest boxes. Just a small slit in the middle for them to go in and out of. Make it nice and dark in there. Always keep a fake egg in each box. Collect eggs often. This will help cure them of egg eating.

Okay folks my neighbor has a situation and she does not know why.. Her goldie all of sudden started pecking at the eggs. There are 10 hens and nothing has changed as far as the size of the run and coop.. any ideas....?

Oh NO! I hope your hubby's stones pass! Those can be very painful! Tell him to drink as much water as possible to help flush it out. Sending prayers your way. (hugs).
Your birds are gorgeous!! I remember when they were babies in the brooder! Things are going well these days. Waiting on the rains to stop. We needed some drought busting rains, but now it needs to stop raining!! LOL Have a great week ahead Sharon!! Love and hugs to you. Prayers for the hubby.

This is them yesterday in the profile pictures.. they are beautiful Red stars are a wonderful personality hen and show lots of love...the 28th they will be 7 months old can you believe it... I hope you get lots of eggs. Some of mine started laying at 18 weeks. Now hey are 20 out of 21.. Lg and Xlg and jumbo.. love the eggs. they free range almost every day... Hubby has 2 kidney stone, hope it dissolves,one in left kidney one in bladder. ok now but has not passed. I am getting over end of summer cold and doing better. Hope all is well in NM..

Hi sweety! The BR's in my profile pic aren't laying yet!! :-( Pretty soon however. They are about to turn 20 weeks old this week. So hopefully I start to get eggs soon!
