I really wanted to like this feed and I used it for 10 months. My hens very reluctantly ate it and most of the time they just wasted it on the floor of the coop. I really wanted to like it because there is no soy and it is 18% protein but my hens laid eggs the same and looked the same as they did on the 16% layer pellets I could get from my local grain mill at $11 a bag compared to $14.99 a bag.
