I was using a cheap cat litter scoop to clean up my poop board, but it often left behind pieces of poop. I searched online and came across this item on Amazon. It's originally intended to be used in small reptile terrariums, but it works really well in my coop. The mesh is fine enough to catch all the pieces of poop, but large enough that the PDZ sifts through. You have to shake it a bit for all your substrate to fall out, but it's worth the effort.

The item is very sturdy and made of stainless steel, which means that it'll never rust on you. The edges are square, making it easy to get into all the corners of the poop board and get all the stray pieces of "yuck".

Thanks for sharing! I use sand mixed with PDZ and DE under my roost and have been looking for a better scooper that will pick up the smaller "yuck". Sounds like this does the trick nicely. I've already ordered and am waiting for it to arrive!

How is it working for you? I'm interested in this purchase for our coops. Would need to purchase 3 or more and don't want to waste the money if they aren't really worth it.

The size is smaller than anticipated. It does work great for picking up the smaller pieces of yuck, but takes a bit longer to sift because the basket isn't very large. I haven't searched yet to see if the manufacturer makes any other sizes. Hope this information is helpful. Good luck!
