General Information
East Frisian Gull are an "Old World" style of chicken imported by Greenfire Farm in 2014, from the coast of Belguim, Germany and Denmark. German name for these chickens is Ostfriesische Möwe. These chickens are a graceful landrace who are very good foragers. They fly well and lay lots of large light cream to white eggs. They are found in 3 colors, gold, lemon and silver. Their disposition is calm, but not friendly. They are hardy and disease resistant even as chicks. They are very rare in their native countries with reports less than 1000 now exist.
