Happy Hen Treats Ceramic Nest Eggs by Happy Hen Treats

I used wooden eggs until I found these ceramic eggs. They come in white and brown, 2 per pack. I find them easier to clean than other ‘fake eggs’, they look and feel like real eggs (you may find yourselves collecting them....). Chickens faithfully lay in the nest boxes that contain 1 or 2 of these eggs

These work great as fake eggs for broody hens, and to show pullets where to lay eggs. They clean up nicely with soap and water, and don't split along the grain like some wood eggs do. They look so similar to real eggs, it's helpful to mark the ends with a Sharpie!

I mark them with a little x in pen so when a family member collects eggs they wont keep bringing these in.
