Happy Hen Treats Mealworm Frenzy

Spoil your chickens with the tasty all-natural mealworms found in Happy Hen Treats Mealworm...
Great treats!
Pros: Good size for a small flock
Big hit with the hens
Waterproof container
Cons: Probably too small for a large flock
I use these, as well as another brand, for my mealworms. These come in a nice container, and are easy to distribute. Makes it a shame I haven't bought any in a while.
Anyway, great product!

Pros: Great treat
Keeps them busy for a long time
Easy to store
Cons: There is no bag big enough
Mealworms are a huge treat with my birds. They see the bag and it’s a stampede. If they weren’t contained within a pen and they saw me with mealworms, the only thing to do would be to turn and run as fast as I could.
If they have to be in the coop for whatever reason I’ll throw a couple handfuls into the shavings and I don’t have to worry about boredom at all. I’ll come back and there still busily scratching away.
They are a bit pricey which is why they’re a rare treat with my chickens.
Bonus? They double up as treats for my dog. He loved them!!
Pros: Tasty to chickens, dry, special treat
My chickens loved these mealworm treats. If you want to teach your chickens to come to you, this is the best motivation. My chickens will come for this over fresh greens and veggie scraps.

Pros: Tasty, chickens love it, gives them entertainment, gives them the needed nutrients, you shake the bag & they come running!
Cons: A bit on the pricey side, sometimes a lot of dust, chickens get addicted!
My chickens adore these mealworms! I love getting them, even though they're expensive. Chickens are worth the money!

I would just raise my own, but I would NEVER be able to allow mealworms, live mealworms, into my home! Ew, just the thought makes me gag

The chickens get addicted, they need those worms! I don't mind buying them, but it's really getting ME addicted! Now I just have the need to buy them!
I love how when I shake the bag they come running as fast as possible and try to get some before I even open the bag!
Overall, it's perfect!

Pros: Birds love them, high protein
Cons: Somewhat expensive
I give these to all my birds, and every bird loves them! They might start out wary at first, but once they get a taste, they go crazy over the mealworms. Even sick birds seem to like the mealworms, and will often eat them if they aren't eating anything else. Not only do the mealworms apparently taste good, but they also offer a wonderful source of protein during molting season.

To feed, I usually just toss a handful on the ground, offer some in my hand, or let the birds eat out of the container.

The only disadvantage of this product is that it is somewhat expensive. Still, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to make their flock happy, train a skittish chicken, or encourage a sick bird to eat.
Pros: Great treat for birds of all ages
Cons: You'll use a lot of them! If you're not careful, birds will eat them very quickly and you'll have to buy more often
All of my birds love these mealworm treats. Really, they love all mealworms in general. It's easy to just toss them a handful or sit down and feed them by hand. Since chickens usually love them so much, its a good food to use if a chicken is acting a little "off" and you think it might be sick. A sick chicken might not peck at them, but a healthy one will.
Pros: 99% of chickens LOVE it, makes wary birds friendly, good source of protien snacks,
Cons: Some rare chickens will not be tempted, easily crumble if you handle the tub too roughly.
Love these! My chickens adore them, except one hen. They are great for an extra bit of protein. They helped in taming some of the more feral birds and got them perching on my shoulders and arms. They beg for them everyday. How can I say no to those faces? For chicks its a good cure for brooder boredom. Hen fights can break out over them though. For those that have a bird here and there that don't care for them-its rare but happens. They do crumble apart easily if you're not careful. I will always buy this product. If they had a barrel size, I'd get it!
