    "Works Well"
Pros - Easy set up, very functional.
Cons - Intermittent shock, clicking sound.
I like the fence/battery indicator. At a glance I can see if the fence is disrupted by something. The shock is not bad to the finger, but effective if it gets the animal at the RIGHT location. I can see noses being much more sensitive than fingers. Yes I've tested it personally! :D

The intermittent shock means the bird HAS to be touching the wire long enough to be shocked. So it may not get them the first time. :barnie But when it does, they don't forget it! Getting it to the exact right height for different animals can take some trial and error. I don't like the clicking sound disrupting my otherwise peaceful area. But you get used to it and it fades into the background. Plus it's a nice auditory confirmation that the fence is still working.

"Great Product - worth the price"
Pros - High quality product, great construction, made in USA, 2yr warranty, puts out plenty of power for the $
    Cons - It's not free
I bought this unit to run a couple hot wires around my chicken pen, coop and run. I've yet to work up the nerve to touch the wire to see how much of a shock it gives you, by my ohm meter says it's plenty! Instructions are easy to follow. Came with appropriate padding so that the unit arrived unharmed from shipping. Comes fully assembled and with a full batter charge. Hang up and connect your wires. Instant protection!

Puts out betwen .75 and 1.5 Joules. Can cover up to 25 miles of fencing.

I've yet to have any issues with it.
