Sussex

I started out with 9 of this amazing chicken unfortanutly one died. They have an amazing colorfull feathers, which can make them hard to tell apart and name. They are very good brown egg layers. They are also super super friendly they fgollow you around every where. From what I have they seem to be good setters as well, at the moment I have two setting. I would deffantly recomend them to anyone.

these girls are calm, good layers, follow you around curious and great foragers.

My SS is a gorgeous bird, she lays nice eggs consistently, and is an easy keeper. Since I raised her from an egg she knows me extremely well which can be an issue. If she is feeling sassy she will try to flog me. She pecks me too... But she always runs to me to pick her up and get petted unlike the other chickens. I think that they are jealous chickens since she only pecks me if im ignoring her. All of the SS's ive had have been relatively the same way.

I have five, 1 month old chicks and they are very sweet and friendly.

I just got my four speckled Sussex and they are my first chicks. They are great. I love them soo much.
