This is a well produced, modern reprint of "The Mating and Breeding of Poultry" by Lamon and Slocum.
It is issued in a large format and is a very thorough book of considerable size (372 pages).
The authors undertook considerable pains to create one of the most comprehensive and well illustrated works on breeding poultry. Of special interest is the breeding advice given on specific breeds, along with illustrations of correct feather markings, etc.
This is one of the most handy books in my personal poultry library.
