Hiya, and welcome to BYC! :frow
What an endearing story, and so neat that chickens are a part of your lives to this extent. Beautiful pictures too. Thank you for sharing your story and your chickens with us. :love

Aww, that sounds adorable, your little one giving the treats. If you have any pictures of your girls, we love pictures if you don't mind sharing!

How old is your chick? If very young, this could be splayed leg and yes, you'd need to splint it but a picture or video of it would be helpful to be...
We have an abundance of roosters due to running a breeding program here. We might need some down the road, but only 5 can be in breeding pens at a time. There are about eight more that are free-ranging, but no hens are free-ranging, so there is no competition. They all get along, albeit a...
I have a frizzle silkie hen that I swear has been molting for nearly a year. She's been on Kalmbach's Flock Maker like all the other chicks and chickens here too. All-flock feeds are higher in protein than layer feeds, and protein helps with feather growth.

If the manufacturer intended for it to be used for ducks, one would think they'd say so. This says, "formulated specifically for chickens."
I don't know enough about each specific vitamin, but I'd try find one that's meant for just ducks or ducks as well as chickens. There could be not enough...
Do you already have eggs to put under her? If so, I'd go ahead and put them in front of her and let her pull them in. I'm guessing she could sit on about 8 eggs and cover them all.
I would mark those with a small X on each end with a pencil so you will know if another hen lays an egg in her...
If it gets restarted, you can enter. Having enough judges wasn't the issue. We had just discussed narrowing down the number of contests that weren't going well, and also considered moving a couple to the fall. Harvests, for instance, are much later up here than down in the south. For...
Okay, I'll put that up there then.
And your Chinese Forget Me Knots are now instead of the Poppy which was your #2. Am I correct on that? Just need to confirm.
