    I picked up my chicks from the feed store where i ordered them. My dh decided that 4 was all we needed. Well I went to pick them up myself, thats was his first mistake, I decided that we needed 7. Lets see if he even notices when he gets hme from work . I can't help it there just so cute.

    lighting in coop

    Besides a heat lamp. should i in stall fluorescent light fixture. I know i can gat a warm and cool tube so it would act like the suns rays like having grow lights for plants. does anyone have lights in there coop? or would this be over kill. I want them(the chickens ) to be happy all winter...
