    Recommendations on geese please.

Both breeds are great breeds. Geese are very winter hardy and love to raise goslings. I think the embden is considered more of a meat breed due to the white feathers. I haven't actually had toulouse, but they are similar to the other breeds I currently have which is pilgrim, buff American, and...

Bullying after losing a member of the flock

I would try that first. If she continues to make trouble you can always try pinless peepers for a few months too if you don't want to keep her separated. I'm guessing she's taking the leader position and trying to tell them all she's in charge now.

Or penning her in the coop. If only one is a problem than it's easier to remove the one.

    Winterizing Rose Starts

Those that I started with a cutting never survived winter here, but we do get pretty cold. I'd personally bring it inside if isn't planted in the ground.

Found a lost bunny, need help!

Aww he's so cute. Another bunny probably bit him in the ear. I would get him some rabbit pellets, and some hay. Rabbits can actually get into trouble not eating, so it's important he keeps eating and hopefully pooping.

Male Turkey and male goose problem

Aggressive bird are best put in the freezer. Turkey especially will continue to get worse. I recommend not mixing turkeys with other poultry because they can and will sometimes kill them. Geese as well can kill other poultry species.

Dreaming of Spring Gardening in the Middle of a Wisconsin winter part 2

Jim husband says it depends on why you planted the oats. A cover crop is best cut down here in the fall and plowed so it can break down, planted for the birds or wildlife leave until spring.

Dreaming of Spring Gardening in the Middle of a Wisconsin winter part 2

Jim not sure what husband will say. Most years he cuts down the deer plot before the snow flies. It makes it easier to plow the following spring if all that vegetation is down, and somewhat broken down. Otherwise it can get wrapped up in the plow blades. Pretty slow here. Not sure if I...

    Water needs??

Ducks waste a lot of water. Have you checked your waterer for leaks? That seems to be a lot of water.
