    Sour/impacted crop not improving

I have been doing monistat 3x/day. I have not worked her or treated for cocci... no blood in her poop, no signs of worms. I could try to work her though. What should I use. I don’t want to give up on her yet.

    Sour/impacted crop not improving

No straw or hay, large chunk pine shavings in their nesting boxes and natural dirt floor in their run. I rake out the run often, but we love in an old coal mining town where people used to bury their trash so stuff always comes up through the ground. I suspect she ate something from the ground...

    Sour/impacted crop not improving

She is about the same. Crop goes down a little when she only gets a small amount of food in the morning and no food or water overnight, but still feels like a pretty large water balloon in the morning. She is still perky and active all day though and still having some poops throughout the day. I...

    Sour/impacted crop not improving

Not noticeably smaller... she has been throwing up a lot today as she bends down to try to find food to eat. Small amounts, but all water.

    Sour/impacted crop not improving

Still a huge water balloon with no access to food or water at night. I have been doing monistat treatment at night, massaging, then letting her take a few drinks of water to wash it all down, then no food or water till morning.

    Sour/impacted crop not improving

I just cleaned her kennel, so this is all that it in there. It goes back and forth between being watery like this one and more firm like normal. No blood seen, no parasites seen. I have been looking for these. She has not eaten anything today except the coconut oil mixture with monistat and...

    Sour/impacted crop not improving

Ok y’all, need your help please. I have an 11 week old barnyard mix with something awful going on with her crop. 3 days ago, I noticed all the signs, lethargic, not her happy clucky self, and she was standing in an odd way. So I picked her up and her crop was huge! I’m talking like equal to the...

1.5 week old chick not feathering or growing

Thanks everyone. To be honest, no I’m not sure if it’s actually a she, what breed she is, or rather or not she was younger or Bantam. She was in a bin of “pullets” barnyard mixes that were supposed to be full size birds (they had a desperate bin for bantams) and that were all supposed to be...

1.5 week old chick not feathering or growing

Anybody?!?!?!? I got these chicks a week and a half ago at TSC. They are all roughly the same age, however, I have one that for some reason isn’t feathering out and isn’t growing much. She was smaller than the others when we brought her home and almost didn’t make it, but now she is happy...

    4 adopted hens

Hello all! So I bought a coop for my ever expanding flock and the owner threw in his 4 chickens. We already received one egg today and from what I can see they definitely need some additional calcium. Their feathers aren’t in super great condition either. So these girls will be getting lots of...

What breed are these? Tractor supply special

Savvy - thank you. I’m kinda hoping that the grey one turns out to be something other than a blue rock ONLY because it has a light spot on its head which would mean it was a boy and these were supposed to be “pullets” . But, it is TSC so who knows. I’m hoping the tiny yellow one makes it because...

What breed are these? Tractor supply special

Temp is at 95 and the other 3 are moving around and chirping, sleeping, eating, and playing. I am almost thinking she may be a bantam chick that got mixed in with the full size chicks though, she is so much smaller than the other 3... I’m wondering if perhaps she may have been trampled on. I...

What breed are these? Tractor supply special

I got 4 new chicks today. I’m thinking maybe they are Easter Eggers or olive Eggers? Honestly I have no idea, they were just in a bin of mixed “pullets”. Wondering if anyone can help me out on what breed they may be. I think the little one that’s yellow with grey strips isn’t gonna make it sadly
