    The way the smilies are set -up is POSITIVELY STUPID to the extreme.....They should just like they were before---OR in a separate window that you can LEAVE OPEN while you are typing your reply......... I see not alot of people are using them...wonder why???????

    Slippen tendon on hock--should I splint???

    My serama hen has a slipped tendon that just doesn't want to stay in place. I made a splint with two pieces of cardboard shaped in an open V on either side of her hock and wrapped with gauze. Of course she HATES it, but not the tendon doesn't move. Question is: can I leave this on, if so how...

    Dislocated hock??? Slipped tendon????

    I have an intersting one. Have a 6 month old serama hen and she somehow dislocated her hock joint. I am like 99% sure that is what it is. When she limps and you pick her up you can see that leg lower leg faces outward a tad. I will manipulate it and sometimes I can feel the tendon slip back...
