    Question on laying -

Do the peahens just suddenly stop all at once from laying? Neither one of mine laid anything yesterday -- they just didn't even seem interested in the boys or their nest. I thought maybe when the time came, they would sort of taper off.

Question on hatching "pea pullet" eggs -

I have some almost 2 year olds I think are getting ready to start laying for the first time. Is it safe to try & hatch the first eggs they lay -- I know with my chickens, I don't hatch "pullet" eggs, as sometimes they hatch very small & weaker than the larger eggs from fully matured hens...

    Brinsea Incubator - Opinions PLEASE!

Would the Brinsea Octagon incubator work OK for peacock eggs? I don't have $500 for a GQF Sportsman & have been unable to find a used one anywhere. Any other recommendations under $300 or so, would be greatly appreciated. Or should I just invest in some cochin hens & let them foster the pea...

See the white flights on my bronze I got from you; does this indicate he is possibly split? He has a few white feathers scattered across his chest also.

    My Silly Girl

Vishnu is without a doubt, one of the funniest, most entertaining birds I've ever owned (or rather, been owned by). She is always the first to come see what's going on. I should've named her "Nosy Rosy" instead of Vishnu!
