    Fowl Pox?

What kind of cream & eye drops? I read another article on the Internet suggesting adding iodine to there water - 4-6oz/gal of water. No mention of topical treatments. The hen in the picture has one eye completely scabbed shut!

    Fowl Pox?

Three of my hens and the rooster have these as well. I understand there is a vaccine but no mention was made of where to get it or what it is called.

I love the idea of adding dried herbs. Will oregano work? I have a huge Greek oregano that we trim regularly. Would love to use some in our coop!

Then put a powdered antiseptic and neosporin on the wound and wrapped it. She is spending the night in or small chick pen away from the...

One of my chicken has what looks to be an abscess on her foot. It is soft and she appears to be having trouble using her foot. She also seems to have very runny poop. Will get pictures later when I have help. Until then any ideas/suggestions?

    Eye infection help!

One of our new poults has an extremely swollen eye. I called the feed store where we bought her. They suggested using yellow puffer dust & putting Vaseline over her eye. Has anyone had experience with this? Any suggestions regarding treatment? Thank you!

The flock is still small - 5 hens that are a year+ old and five poults that are a couple of months old. The older...
