Domestic rabbit tastes like a very good chicken. Very mild and extremely tender. Jack rabbits on the other hand are really gamey and tough.

I've done that a few times with no adverse affects that I've noticed. Just make sure that they don't get much medicated chick starter, it can make the males sterile.

PinkChick... Here is a picture showing a pullet from your stock and a pullet that is a cross between other breeder I got eggs from... No leg band needed to differentiate between these lines. Oh, the leg color of the little one isn't anywhere close to that dark, they are actually lighter...
