How long can an adult female duck go with out food and water? She is very sick and the vet has no idea what has caused this or how to fix it..She had a fever of 109 how long is unknown it is down now,but she just lays flat in the cage,she hasnt drank anything for 24 hours I try giving it to her...

Sounds just like my duck I just took to the vet..I thought she might have a sore on her foot that was causing it but the vet said no she had a fever of 109 it was brought down now to 104 which is good and I brought her home she is on medication and we just have to wait to see if she pulls...

Well she is drinking and I have her in a cage alone she didnt want to be near the other ducks she kept hiding from them,she cant see them but can hear them..The pad on the bottom is soft not hard so there isnt anything to open its just big and flat,I felt it with my hand I know nothing will...

I would say mallard they are small..I got mine from TSC who told me they only sell mallards..My are little compared to my crestedand pekin,,,Mine fly no clipped wings..
