Ok guys gals i have redstars that are 9 months old. They haven’t laid anything these are the 4th set i had over the years. I haven’t did anything different with these. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

I was using a digital that read 101 then i found the original mercury one so i placed both in there digital reads 101 and mercury that reads 104 i have alaays been told mercury was probably right. And its an old incubator sterofoam one small

Ok thanks i know im not supposed to post in this forum but i couldnt figure it out lol. So at day ten i can candle them and if they are forming they shouldnt be hurt correct? And will a flashlight work as candling?

OK folks i have 2dz. Of greys in the incubator my thermometer was messed up unknowingly and they were at 104 degrees the first 24hrs. Are they hurt?

No not really any other changes he is about 7 months old and he normally crows all day just about

I also keep a feeder full of layer pellets because they cant free range is this bad? Can the get to fat to lay

So they dont nessacerily HAVE to start laying within a certain time frame cause i have 3 thats laying and 7 thats never started

Ok gals and guys My redstars have quit laying they are young like 26-27 weeks we only have about 10hrs. Of daylight here this time of year what is yall thoughts on suplemental lighting how and when to add the light morning or night

When i was referring to cooped i meant its a house with 10x10 runs on both ends sorry.

Naw they stay cooped all the time

Will they be fine on just layer pellets they dont free range at all cause dogs. If they are out of cycle how long can i expect this to get back in cycle

I keep a feeder full at all times of 22% layer pellets could i be feeding them to much?
