This is very a very useful article!
I have been showing birds for the past 4 years but only began to trim their nails about a year ago as they only needed to be trimmed then.
I did try before this but I cut off too much and the nail was bleeding and I started panicking.
When I first started...
Hi chickygirl.
Yes the can take turns.
I now have silkies out around that area in the eletric fence,
But every so often the silkies get locked into their coup and the,
Pekins and Sussex have a few hours out side.
Hi all,
I finally got my new coops built for my pekin bantams
And my coronation Sussex bantams.
I got a few pictures,
The coops dimensions are
Run; 6 foot long / 1.5 foot wide
Coop area; 2 foot long / 1.5 foot wide
Thank you for looking,
Fionn.
This is great information,
I would also add,
Barbu d'Anver
Legbars
And pekin bantams.
The pekin bantams can be tricky to keep,
As they have feathered feet.
Clean legged birds are easier to show for someone starting out with it.
Goodluck,
Fionn.
