I found a neglected bunny on the side of the road! Help!

Sadly, he passed away today. This morning I got him pellet feed and peanut hay but he didn't want to eat, and when I came home he was dead. Thank you all for your great advice and support. I'm just glad that this rabbit died safe and warm, and not lonely on the side of the road.

I found a neglected bunny on the side of the road! Help!

From your reply and pictures on the internet, I think he does. He also has a hole/puncture scar in his left ear; it looks like something bit him a while ago, probably a dog.

I found a neglected bunny on the side of the road! Help!

Update: He is doing okay. He ate the rest of the lettuce and a very tiny piece of banana (many online forums said that they were simple and basic for bunnies). He practically inhaled it. First thing tomorrow morning I will go get rabbit pellets from the feed store. Anything else I can feed him...

I found a neglected bunny on the side of the road! Help!

So driving home I saw a rabbit sitting on the side of the road. He was black and white and fluffy, and looked like a pet bunny. I went back and picked him up, and he literally jumped into my arms. I took him home and, under the instruction of my friend who has a pet rabbit, put him in a small...

    Something is wrong with Smokey

Is there bone poking out? Gently feel her knee and see is the bone seems to be out of place compared to the other leg. If it is just hot and swollen, he may have just fractured it. You could maybe try to ice it? I know she is cold, so maybe ice it for brief amounts of time? I read online that...

    Something is wrong with Smokey

Hmm.... are you bringing home ducklings or chick? I like the names Lola and Penny for chicks, Caesar and Dandy for ducks.

    Sick chick?

From experience, chicks from Tractor Supply arr often sick. Also, I’ve helped raise Silkies and they aren't very lively chicks. Keep him hydrated and make sure he is eating a pooping.

How do I help my ducks get along???

She’s a Silver-laced Wyandotte (her name is Oakley). They are very pretty but kind of dim-witted. Oakley is mean to my ducklings, but the other ones (Autumn and Tiny) are nicer. I got her from my local feed store but I know Tractor Supply frequently sells them. They are great layers I get about...

New chickens won't mix with old ones

Ok I live in Florida so I did not take winters into account. Give them time and they will learn to live with each other.

New chickens won't mix with old ones

Does your chicken coop have a run? If so, the big chickens can get locked up in the roost part and the newbies could sleep in the run (or the other way around). If you don’t, then splitting the roost like they said ⤴️ is probably the best thing to do.

New chickens won't mix with old ones

I have Wyandottes at home, too (they are mean to my newbies). They wouldn’t hurt them but would chase them for a few seconds and sometime peck the top of their head. They kind of egged the other chickens on, too. Also, your Poule D’azur is a smaller breed, am I right? She is more likely to be...

What Breed Is This Lovely Lady?

She looks a bit like an Aloha chicken (maybe a cross?). They are a newer breed and not many people know about them. ⤵️ https://www.farmshow.com/a_article.php?aid=30818

How do I help my ducks get along???

Today I put Buscuit, Happy and Butter together. They kind of warmed up to each other. I think Butter likes the but the ducklings are sacared of her. Honey wasn’t very happy, but I think this is the best solution for now

How do I help my ducks get along???

Though I don’t have much experience with ducks, I think Happy Feet is a hen and Biscuit is a drake. Biscuit has a low, raspy quack, which usually indicates a male (according to the internet). He is also larger and very protective of Happy.
