Wowsers @IamSamSam They are enormous eggs! @kat79 sorry to hear about losing your girl Congrats on hatches everyone! It's making me itchy to hatch more but I do have more than enough in my flock at the moment. My stubborn, broody Wilma the splash orpington isn't helping the...

Thanks for your kind words @ChristieB ! I've been training him to "stack" ever since he was 4 weeks old at his breeders. We practice everyday in front of a mirror to get it right and also go to weekly show training. Believe me, he still has a ways to go. He still wriggles a bit when the judge...

Congrats to everyone who've had successful hatches. Loving all the baby pics Commiserations to all who've lost a part of their flock, it is never easy. @Fancychooklady what strapping young lads! Handsome boys. Foxes are probably my main concern. While I've never seen one where I am...

Wow... hatches, babies and adorable cuteness!! Now I want to hatch more babies I'm glad your mp3 seems to be working @Teila . I'm glad I don't have crows cawing at ungodly hours. We just have plovers who sometimes get upset at something in the middle of the night and go off, but that's not...

Thanks Fancy, I had a read through that thread. Failing the fishzole, I might try the copper sulfate solution they talk about and give that a go as I have some on hand if I need to. But so far the Nilstat drops are working so it won't be too much longer that I need to use them. Sounds like...

I've seen a definite improvement with the Nilstat drops I have. The stuff in his throat has turned from white to brown and is coming away from the side of his esophagus which was why I was able to pull out that nasty glob in the pic. The tube feeding is going great, I think I may have it...

Goodness appps, hope you are ok. Everyone ready for a bit of a stomach turning pic? I apologise in advance if you're squeamish. I was tube feeding Casanova tonight and saw some muck just inside his mouth. I grabbed my tweezers and pulled this out: (The black dot is a bug) Yuck!!! He seemed...

It's wet fowl pox. @casportpony is the person to go to, to help you combat it. Good luck.

    Breed age gender?

The first is no Welsummer - they have yellow legs. Likely to be some sort of game bird. The second isn't a Wyandotte since they have yellow legs too and rose combs. I think they are all bantam game mixes.
