egg changes OR a super late bloomer?

my question may have been confusing. can speckles come at any time once they’ve started laying, or is it a trait that they have from the first egg to their last.

5 out of 14 were cockerels for me. (One is still in waiting in the wings before it goes to the cockerel farm, though! 😉)

    Olive Egger being a jerk!

The k you for this! Most is already in place. Stumps and pallets for when they’re ‘free’, but right now the four teenagers sleep in a big stock tank in the garage (scratching up WAY too much dust in my house) and spend a good chunk of the day in the run (confined). One escaped the other day...

PotPie, Nugget, Cashew, and Dumplin’. I also love the herb names. Lavender, Parsley, Sage, & Chive. or if you’re like me and a huge HP fan: Hermione, Ginny, Luna, & maybe Bellatrix if you have a feisty one! I also have fruity chickens. Strawberry, Apple, & Rhubarb. We don’t have a fourth...

    Olive Egger being a jerk!

Hi! So I’ve now sent all my roosters back to the farm from which they came - sigh - and was left with 3 ten week old olive Eggers. I’m trying to get them accustomed to my 6 week old golden laced and barred rocks, and it’s...hairy. I have the BR and GLW within the run but confined to a puppy play...

Yes, that rooster fertilized the eggs. Why do you say they aren’t ameraucanas? I saw the eggs...watched them hatch. Have photos of them in the incubator!
