Anyone have a pic of a cross between coro and white silkie? I have a coro hen in with my white silkie roos. Just wondering what the offspring...
Ok, my little serama babies scrape their beaks on the ground constantly. Does this "mean" anything or is it just something they do?
I found a breeder to buy serama hatching eggs from who lives, surprisingly, close to me! I am super excited. I asked for 10, I'm meeting her...
mine is "so" a buff silkie!
How old are these chicks? MIne don't near have the head feathers yours do.
I have my guess that the one with the yellow/reddish feathers coming in HAS to be the mutt.
that's what im thinking too. I bought the eggs as "blue silkies" and I knew the possibility for black or splash was there.
Two of these are white and one hatched from an egg labeled "blue". It's obviously not blue but could it be "splash" ?[IMG]

This evening should be lockdown for me (set on Good Friday). What is your preferred method of lockdown prep? I need some good advice.
Ok, I set silkies and seramas on Good Friday. What would be the best lockdown date?
There are 4 of her eggs in the bator now with my seramas and silkies and coronation sussex. They labeled "mutt". I hope they're all hens!
My little RIR hen is an egg laying machine! An egg a day, save a few a month she takes a break. I'd love to have some little reddish barred hens...
Roosters would go to the table.
What will result between a Black Sex LInk Roo and a RIR hen? Just wondering if it will be anything worth hatching.
I'm thinking the rooster might be a black sex link? Not sure. He's not quite as barred as the barred rock cockerels I've had before.
The hen is a RIR
First of all, what is the rooster? Secondly, what will I get if I hatch the eggs that result in the cross between these two?
