They normally can only lay one a day. Anymore would be rare and an abnormality. I would not eat then not knowing how long they have been out...
No rooster = no babies. Yes that's a broody hen. Take them away and pitch them. Then watch her daily til she snaps out of it.

lastnight I took one and cut it in half,
scooped ot seeds/pulp and placed face down in
a baking dish with 1/2" water and covered with foil.
meatloaf, mash tater & grean beans w/bacon n onions.

the hens were started pullets from Meyers hatchery. i knew
they would be debeaked...
I found all 3 items at Buehler's grocery today.
the are RSL and are 29 weeks old. been laying since 19-21 weeks old.
1st white egg laid. always brown til today.
no tricks. it was still warm and a bit wet from just being laid. i did take a pic.
