Have lost several chicks to cocci ( stupid medicated feed didn't work) and I got a bottle of corid from the vet but the receptionist didn't know...
Pine shavings,as usual. May have to make a trip to Smith's Poultry,it's nearby,they should have it.
Thought it was cocci,and that the cheap medicated chick feed wasn't doing it's job,so switched to the more expensive stuff. Lost another couple...
Well after I got in the car & left,I thought "DUH!! It's cocci!!"
They are on medicated chick starter,too.
Have some chicks in the brooder that a couple are pooping blood,pretty runny,too. Any ideas what this may be??

60 overnight,at 4-7 weeks? They'll be just fine. As long as they have dry bedding,no major drafts,& other buddies to snuggle with, No worries....
